Released March 15th, Version 1.2.0.1 disabled Proof of Distributed Computing (PODC) and increased block rewards for Proof of BibleHash (POBH) - You can download new wallet here: https://www.biblepay.org/wallet/ - and we have instructions on how to update here

Rob Andrews Resigns from Gridcoin
It turns out that our founder and lead developer, was also the founder and lead developer of Gridcoin (GRC), a cryptocurrency that rewards users for contributing processing power to science research, he started it in 2013! Rob recently resigned from Gridcoin with a public letter

Proof of Distributed Computing Removed
The cancer research mining algorithm was temporarily disabled with v1.2.0.1
and was then put up to vote for removal by the masternod network, the vote passed

Masternode Collateral Increasing
Currently to run a masternode (sanctuary), requires 1.5 million BBP coins,
with this proposal passing it will now require 4.5 million BBP coins

Quantitative Tightening being Added
An algorithm where money supply (new coin issuance) dries up when the market price is below the “acceptable useful price” and normal emission operations resume when the BBP price is above the threshhold target value

There will be no fees charged for using the biblepay mining pool for at least the next 90 days

BiblePay Evolution Upgrade in Testing
BiblePay is a fork of Dash, the original masternode coin, BiblePay Evolution is going to be our next version, and it includes all the features of Dash Evolution. And going forward we will continually honor Dash’s future production code and incorporate it as they commit. What will be inside this upgrade?
